Willis L. Boudreau

Willis L. Boudreau, 72, of Franklin passed away peacefully on Thursday September 24, 2026, after a long illness.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years Linda McDermott Boudreau and his two children: Nicole and her husband Christian, and Joseph and his wife Katherine.

He is forever loved by his cherished grandchildren Samantha Boudreau, Elliana Boudreau, Cole Brocato, Cooper Boudreau, and Casey Brocato, and his nephews Kevin and Steven McDermott.

Willis leaves behind his loving sister Frances Breza and was predeceased by his sister Althea Paquette.

Willis was born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 25, 1954. He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Aschaffenburg, Germany from May 1972 through September 1974 in as part of the #557 Maintenance Battalion.

Willis loved working in construction and spent his life building houses. He drove trucks during the early years while obtaining his degree from Dean Junior College. He then spent time working for his beloved uncles in their various construction businesses. He started his own construction business, W.L. Boudreau & Son, building many custom homes throughout the local area, retiring from the Franklin DPW in the Water Department in 2012.

Willis always enjoyed coaching, mentoring, and supporting his Franklin teams over the years and truly loved watching his grandchildren develop their own love of sports.

His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and his world revolved around them. From fishing with the boys, to shopping with the girls, to attending their sports events. There was never an ask too great or anything more important than what they needed. They will forever miss their Papa. He also loved travelling and seeing the world with his family. He loved exploring Alaska and Italy and spending time with Linda, the love of his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30th, at 10AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 11AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org

Burial at the parish cemetery will be at a later date.
