William J. "Bill" Holloway

William Joseph Holloway,Known to most as "Bill," of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Monday July 6th, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born on September 10, 1942 in Boston, William grew up in Holbrook with his three siblings. He was the son of the late Mildred P. (Shoulla) and James W. Holloway, a Navy veteran.

William was the beloved husband of his High School sweetheart, the late Ruth Francis (Drummond) Holloway of Weymouth. He is survived by his younger brother Thomas Holloway of Marshfield


William is survived by his daughter, Denise Marie Holloway of Woodburn,OR, his sons, William Edward Holloway of Bowling Green KY and Scott Michael Holloway of Worcester MA. William leaves behind his only grandson Aaron Scott Holloway.

William was a High School star athlete in Holbrook playing basketball, baseball and gymnastics. He later played tennis with a great degree of success. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was a retired Foreman from General Motors after 40 plus years in Framingham MA, Nyack NY and most recently, the Corvette plant in Bowling Green KY.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Tuesday July 28th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. at 10:30AM.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery Bellingham.

Visiting hours are on Monday, July 27th from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
