Thomas (Tom) J. Paquette of Bellingham Ma and a former resident of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2022 surrounded by family.
Tom was born March 4, 1946 in Roslindale MA to Delphis G. Paquette and Anna C. (Fraccastoro) and resided in Bellingham for 45 years. He attended Franklin schools and served in Vietnam with the United States Army.
After the military he was employed by Guild Drilling of Rhode Island as an environmental driller. Tom loved the challenges he faced during his on site jobs.
Tom was a devoted family man and loved family gatherings. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom also enjoyed reading, playing poker, being on his boat, and visiting on his front porch with family, friends, and neighbors.
He is survived by his four children, Tracy Paquette of Taunton MA, Mitch Paquette of Wauseon OH, Christopher Paquette of Holliston MA, and Bryan Rhoades of Bellingham MA. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Tom was one of seven siblings, Richard Paquette (Angela) of Galena, IL, Linda Paquette (Marty Crowe) of Kingston MA, Christine Wucherer (Rolf) of Manistee MI, Joanne Paquette of Stone Mountain GA, Diane "Dee" Green (Darrel) of Shrewsbury MA and Jeffrey Paquette (Karen Archambault) of Franklin MA.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Delphis and Anna, his first wife Joanne (Eastwood) and his second wife Gail (Rhoades).
Tom will be sorely missed by all who loved him. Especially for his sense of humor which could always be counted on!
Visiting hours will be 1 - 4pm on Sunday, April 3, 2022 in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
