Obituary

Mrs. Theresa C. (Nanni) Taddeo 91, a lifelong Franklin resident, died Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following an extended period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Taddeo Sr. who died in 1994.
Born in Franklin, July 20, 1918 a daughter of the late Rocco and Maria M. (Capaldo) Nanni, she was raised and educated in Franklin. She was a retired homemaker.
Mrs. Taddeo loved to cook and enjoyed entertaining company at her home. She liked to travel, crocheting and rug braiding. She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary's Church.
She is survived by her son Anthony "Snuffy" Taddeo and his life companion Deborah of Franklin.
She was the mother of the late Mary Taddeo of Franklin who died in July, and the sister of the late Carly A. "Harry" Nanni, who died in 1984.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday September 5th, at 11:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin, at 12 noon.
Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery.
