Obituary

Sylvia E. (Cote) Brunelli, 89, a former longtime resident of Franklin, died Palm Sunday April 17, 2011 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Louis P. Brunelli, who died in 1989.
Born in Woonsocket, May 4, 1921 a daughter of the late Edouard J. and Anita F. (Huot) Cote, she was raised and educated in Canada. She lived in Franklin for most of her life, and retired in 1991 as the manager and travel agent for the Gemini Travel Company.
She was a member of the 3rd Order of Discalced Carmelites, and a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Women's Club, the former president of the Franklin Public Schools Secretary's Association, and a longtime volunteer at the former Southwood Community Hospital.
She is survived by a son Robert L. Brunelli of Jamaica Plain, 3 daughters; Marilyn D. Bettencourt of Titusville, FL, Susan A. Shair of Suffern, NY and Elizabeth J. Wiley of Beckley, WV, 2 sisters Jeanne Beaulieu of Beverly, and Claire L. Connelly of Mashpee. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday April 20th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN, www.oterifuneralhome.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 1 Church Sq., at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
