Steven A. Esterly 55, of Providence, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Monday August 30, 2010 at his home. He was the former husband of Aura M. (Lopez) Esterly and Laurie (Archer) Wagner of Blackstone.
Born in Milford, March 22, 1955 a son of the late Richard H. and Barbara E. (Jones) Esterly, he was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1973 graduate of Franklin High School.
Mr. Esterly was employed by the Honeywell International Corporation of Cranston as a fork lift operator. He was an avid fan and follower of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Celtics.
He also leaves 2 sons; Jared M. Esterly of Bellingham, Jacob R. Esterly of Ft. Worth, Texas, a brother Richard H. Esterly Jr. of Franklin, a sister Pamela J. Cybulski and her husband David of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Sally Ann Beaupre.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday Sept. 4th, at 9:30AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral service at 10AM in the Franklin United Methodist Church 82 West Central St. Rt. 140 Franklin.
Interment will follow in the family lot in Union Street Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday 4-8PM.
