Stacey Lee Schiappucci

On Saturday, July 18th, 2026, Stacey Lee Schiappucci of North Smithfield, RI and a former resident of Franklin left this world unexpectedly to begin her next journey at the young age of 49.

Stacey was born in Milford, MA on June 9th, 1977. She attended Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School where she was educated in culinary arts and graduated in 1996. Stacey was compassionate and a people person. Her work included child care and many years of being in the restaurant industry.

Stacey lived a life free-willed, eccentric, and strong spirited. She believed love and kindness was the key to life. She enjoyed time with her family, nature, and her back yard watching the birds and other wildlife. Stacey has an especially great taste in music with some of her favorites being the Grateful Dead, The Guess Who, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Stacey was an avid coffee drinker and visitors to her home were encouraged to pay the Dunkin' coffee tax. Stacey was kind, gentle, and loving. People who knew her often describe her as "bright light". To know Stacey is to know love and be met with no judgement. She instilled values of love, kindness, and courage into her two daughters. Her infectious smile brightened up any room she walked in to.

Stacey is survived by her boyfriend, Erik Whelan of North Smithfield, her loving mother and step-father Donna and Ivan Kelly of Connecticut, her beloved daughters Paige Markell and her fiancé Adam Collette of Uxbridge, and RyleyAnne O'Malley and her boyfriend Vernon West of Central Falls. Stacey is survived by her three cherished sisters, Kelly Schiappucci and her lifelong partner Dave Johnson of Bellingham, Wendi Gentilella and her husband Rocco Gentilella of Lincoln, RI, and Isabelle Schiappucci of Millville, MA. Stacey is survived by her niece, Kendall Joan "Mush" and her granddaughters Alyvia Grace "Sweet Pea" and soon-to-be-born, Jo'Lee and Jay'Lee who she couldn't wait to meet. She is survived by her cousin Michelle Shayer of Florida and Sean Markell, a lifelong friend of the family.

She was predeceased by her father Michael "Scub" Schiappucci and her grandparents Joseph "Grampy" and Joan "Gram" Pulsone of Franklin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1-4pm on Saturday July 25th, 2026 at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street, Franklin, MA.

A private burial service for family will follow.
