Obituary

Shirley E. (Kaufman) Petitt 91 years old passed away Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westboro, following an illness.

She was born in Wrentham, Massachusetts on December 9th 1930. She was the daughter of the late John F. and Nellie M. (Morse) Kaufman.

Shirley was preceded in death by the late Franklin Police Officer Warren B. Petitt Sr.

She is survived by her five children, daughters Donna Campanario of Franklin, Cheryl Petitt Fischer (Ron) of Franklin, three sons, Wayne Petitt of Medway, Warren B. Petitt Jr. (Tina) of Venice Florida, Robert M. Petitt (Dana) of Land O' Lakes Florida.

Shirley leaves behind ten amazing grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Shirley was employed at Evans Case Company of North Attleboro, Chestnut Nursing Home in Franklin and Corning Medical in Medfield. She also worked at an assisted living facility in Venice Florida called Bella Vita. Many of her jobs centered around helping and caring for the elderly.

She was an avid bowler at Ficco's Bowladrome with her sisters and mother in the Junior league. Past member of the Franklin Emblem Club at the Franklin Lodge of Elks.

The Family would like to thank Sue Borozny close family friend and long time care giver for over seventeen years and Regina who was also with our mother as a care giver in the last year through Tri Valley Health Care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Monday June 27th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St at 10AM.

Interment will follow at Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.

Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5PM.
