Obituary

Santiago N. "Jimmy" Garza IV, 41, of Woonsocket, passed peacefully on Wednesday September 8, 2021, at Landmark Medical Center after a lifelong battle with addiction.

Born July 25, 1980 in Abilene, Texas, he was the beloved son of Dawn M. (Mucciarone) McCollum of Franklin and Santiago Z. Garza, III of Abilene, Texas.

Jimmy is survived by 3 sons, a brother, Mason Garza of Abilene, Texas, sisters, Tia Garza of Franklin and Brittni Bressan of Franklin, 7 nieces & nephews, an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jimmy attended the Bi-County Collaborative Program, he was very proud to have completed his GED.

A talented construction tradesman, he was an avid New England sports fan, a very good artist and enjoyed writing poetry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Saturday September 18th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 1-4PM.

A prayer service will take place at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Gilly's House 1022 West St. Wrentham, MA 02093.
