Rose C. (Candela) White

Rose Candela White 99, of Norfolk, died peacefully Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home in Norfolk.

Born July 10, 1927 (please double check year she was born), in Norfolk, a daughter of the late Rotilio and Orsola (Rainone) Candela, Rose was a longtime resident of both W. Yarmouth and Norfolk.

Rose was raised and educated in Norfolk and was a graduate of Walpole High School. Rose worked the majority of her career as an Executive for Masoneilan, a global manufacturing company where she retired.

Rose was an avid watcher of PGA Golf. She loved playing bingo with friends and enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods. She also enjoyed shopping with her sisters.

Rose is survived by her siblings Anne (Candela) Colello of Millis, Josephine Cisternelli of Wrentham, Louis Candela of Norfolk and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved Corgi, Susie.

Rose was the wife of the late Walter White and the sister of the late Pauline Valente, Grace Jones, Frank Candela, Julius Candela and Ralph Candela.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass Wednesday Aug. 5th, in St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk, MA at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice and Palliative Care, 321 Manley Street, W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
