Roberta S. Albus

Roberta Sue Albus, June 28, 1960 – April 22, 2026, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and later of Franklin, Massachusetts passed away, surrounded by the love of her family.

Roberta was a devoted wife to her late husband, Greg, a loving mother to her son, Jason, and a proud and adoring Mimi to her granddaughter, McKenna. She was also a cherished friend to many and a deeply valued member of her extended family.

Those who knew Roberta will remember her strong will, her unwavering generosity, and the deep importance she placed on family. She was deeply proud of her Southern roots, and she carried those connections with her throughout her life, never losing the close friendships and ties she maintained in South Carolina. At the same time, she built a loving home in Franklin, Massachusetts, where she moved in recent years to be closer to her family, a reflection of just how central they were to her life.

She is survived by her son, Jason; daughter-in-law, Liz, her granddaughter, McKenna; sisters Rachel and Kay, extended family; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Greg Moore.

Roberta’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the family she helped shape. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to celebrate Roberta’s life will be held on May 9th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oteri Funeral Home in Franklin, Massachusetts, with reflections and blessing being shared at 12:40 PM. A celebration of life will also be held in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at Hickory Tavern on June 27th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hope Hospice.
