Obituary

Robert F. Worster, 89, of Franklin died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at the Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford, following a brief period of failing health.

Born in Franklin, a son of the late Walter S. and Mary Agnes (O'Connell) Worster, he was a lifelong Franklin resident. He was educated in local schools and was a 1936 graduate of Franklin High School.

He was a retired, self-employed maintenance contractor.

He was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, The American Association of Retired Persons and was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary Church. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed reading.

He leaves many area nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Walter "Dudda" Worster, Mildred Dauphinee and Grace Ficco.

The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 10, at 8:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., with a funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, 1 Church Square, at 9 a.m.

Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m.
