Robert E. Pasquino 91, a lifelong Franklin resident, died Thursday October 19, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne L. (Lydon) Pasquino, who died in 1999.
Born in Franklin, March 29, 1926 a son of the late Michael and Anna (Giardino) Pasquino, he was raised and educated in Franklin, and graduated from Franklin High School class of 1944.
He retired from the Foxboro Company, where he worked for many years as a Master model maker.
He served in the US Army during World War II and the Korean conflict. Serving in the infantry division, he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan).
He was a member of the Jolly Fox Campers and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his children, Anthony J. Pasquino and his wife Elizabeth of Townsend, VT, David R. Pasquino of Bellingham, James A. Pasquino and his wife Judith of Uxbridge and Janet L. Ewing and her husband Scott Wians of Blackstone, and was also the beloved "Grampy" to 10 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
He is also the brother of the late Camillo, Alfred, Lawrence Pasquino, Caroline Lavoie and Anne Pasquino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday Oct. 24th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Monday from 5-8PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society 5 Manley St. West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
