Robert J. "Bob" Juszczyszyn

Robert “Bob” Juszczyszyn, age 81, passed away peacefully on July 14th at his home in Franklin, Massachusetts, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 25, 1945, he was the beloved son of the late Michael Juszczyszyn and Stephanie (Yozura) Juszczyszyn. Bob was born and raised in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and in 1971 made Franklin his home, where he and his family built a lifetime of cherished memories.

A devoted father and hardworking provider, Bob worked at General Motors from 1970 until his retirement in 2008. His dedication and steady presence were a reflection of the love he had for his family and the life he worked so hard to provide for them.

Bob found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved vacationing in Maine, spending quiet days fishing with his son and grandchildren, and making memories with those he loved most. He could often be found scratching scratch tickets, joining in a card game, or enjoying the slots. Bob also had a deep love of food, especially his mother’s Polish recipes from the old country, which remained a meaningful connection to his heritage and family traditions.

Above all, Bob will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the special place he held in their hearts. His presence, stories, humor, and the memories shared with him will be deeply missed and lovingly carried forward by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is lovingly survived by his children, Kim Padula and her husband, Norman, and Kyle Juszczyszyn and his wife, Laura; his five grandchildren, Anthony McWilliams, Ashley McWilliams, Alec McWilliams, Alexis Juszczyszyn, and Patrick Juszczyszyn; and his two great-grandchildren, MacKenzie McWilliams and Hannah McWilliams. He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend and companion, Janet (Jarry) Mucciarone.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Michael Juszczyszyn and Paul Juszczyszyn, who passed before him.

Funeral arrangements will be private at the family’s request.

The Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. is honored to assist the Juszczyszyn family.
