Robert (Bob) Michael Webber, 62, of Cape Canaveral, Florida (formerly of Franklin, Massachusetts), passed away peacefully on Thursday March 12th, 2026 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, after a brave, 17 month battle of Grade 4 Glioblastoma.
Born June 26, 1963 in Norwood, Massachusetts, Bob was the son of Francis Webber and the late Charlotte (Doherty) Webber of Franklin, Massachusetts, where he spent the first 52 years of his life. During his childhood, Bob enjoyed playing baseball, hockey, skiing and running track. His love of sports continued into adulthood as he proudly coached his daughters’ sports teams. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Bruins. Bob also enjoyed relaxing days at the beach with his wife and making lasting family memories at Disney.
Bob took great pride in his work in the Supply Chain, Starship Division at SpaceX, where he built many meaningful friendships. Bob was known for his reliability, strong work ethic and dedication.
Bob was a loving and devoted husband to Michelle (Towne) Webber of Cape Canaveral, Florida (formerly of Franklin, Massachusetts) his wife of 38 years. He was a cherished Father to Elizabeth Webber and Stephanie Webber, both of Merritt Island, Florida (formerly of Franklin, Massachusetts) and a proud and loving Pop-Pop to his granddaughters, Isabelle and Harlow and his grandson, Noah. He shared a close bond with his brother Jim Webber of Millis, Massachusetts and his wife Pam whose love, compassion and support did not go unnoticed throughout Bob’s cancer journey. Bob also leaves behind his loving in-laws Joan and Harold Towne of Halifax, Massachusetts who considered him not just a son-in-law, but a true son. He will be missed by his sisters and brothers-in-law whose love and unwavering support will never be forgotten, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Bob’s legacy of love, loyalty, humor, and strength will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
