Obituary

MEDWAY- Rita D. (McDermott) Bagley, 93, of Medway, died peacefully at home Friday, May 30, 2008, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Bagley.
Born in Boston 1915, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary E. (McNamara) McDermott, she was raised and educated in Dorchester, and had formerly lived in Randolph and Franklin, until moving to Medway.
Mrs. Bagley was a retired supervisor for the New England Mutual Life Insurance Co., where she had worked for many years.
She was an avid Red Sox fan, and also enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Colleen Cunnally and John Cunnally of Medway, Karen Reilly of Norfolk, Laura Marie Brence of Spartan, N.J.; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bagley was the mother of Judith A. Cunnally, who died in 2002. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday, June 3, at 8:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com, with a funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church in Franklin at 9 a.m.
Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
Calling hours are Monday, June 2, from 5 to 8 p.m.
