Phyllis E. (Heinrich) Molloy 84, of Franklin passed away peacefully Friday March 27, 2026 at home surrounded by her family, following a long period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Molloy, who died in 2014.
Born in Boston, February 24, 1942 the daughter of the late Emil E. Heinrich and Frances E. O’Rielly, she was raised in Dedham and graduated from Dedham High School in 1960.
She worked for 25 years for the WT Holmes Bus Company, also the Town of Franklin Senior Center for 11 years and finally for GATRA for her last 8 years before retiring.
Phyllis enjoyed quilting, family time, her grandchildren, her Friday Afternoon “Pip Girls”, camping and time spent at Bourne Scenic Campground.
She is survived by her children, Paul J. “PJ” Molloy, Jr. and his wife Arleen of Bellingham, 2 daughters, Colleen Johnson and her husband Eric of Monument Beach, and Maureen Molloy Giuliani of Franklin, 4 grandchildren, Karianne Bonini and her husband Joseph of Northbridge, Kayla Leming and her husband Jacob of Huntington, IN, Ryan Molloy of Marlboro and Casey Johnson of Bourne.
Also surviving are many nieces & nephews.
She is also the sister of the late Paul E. Heinrich, Patricia E. (Heinrich) Major and Peter Heinrich.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday April 8th at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Calling hours are Tuesday April 7th, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
