Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Gleeson died peacefully among family on January 29, 2023.

Mrs. Gleeson was born on January 8, 1937, in Mount Vernon, NY. The daughter of Joseph and Cecilia Carmody. She was the first of their four children.

Pat met her husband of 56 years, Timothy Gleeson, in New Rochelle, NY. They married in 1957 and moved to Long Island, NY where they lovingly raised five children. Pat was a stay-at-home mom, until eventually returning to the workforce, first in the registrar's office at Dowling College and then as a travel agent. Pat enjoyed traveling, dancing, spoiling her cats, laughing, telling stories, and decorating her home, especially during the holidays.

Pat is pre-deceased by her husband, Tim, and her brother, Tom Carmody. She is survived by her sisters, Mary DeMartino and Kathy Myrdal, as well as her children Jack, Kathy, Sheila, Diane, and Tim. Pat boasts 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin, MA on Monday, February 6th at 10 AM. Her interment will be held privately at a later date in Florida.
