Nicholas A. Mucciarone (“Nicky”), 62, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, formerly of Franklin, Massachusetts, passed away on April 7, 2026.
Nick was born to the late Gloria Mucciarone and the late Nicholas G. Mucciarone and was raised in Franklin, Massachusetts. He graduated from Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1981. In his younger years, he was the proud owner of his own construction company, NAMCO. Later, he worked at Bella Construction, where he enjoyed working alongside family and friends and was admired for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Nick found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful to him. He loved riding his Harley and had a deep love for dogs, especially his beloved dog Bella, who brought him endless happiness. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Nick had a brilliant sense of humor and loved joking around, playfully teasing those he loved. His laughter and mischievous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all else, Nick’s greatest pride and joy was his son, Nick. He loved him with all his heart, always encouraged him, laughed with him, and stood by him through every stage of life. Being a father was Nick’s most cherished role, and it filled him with immense love and devotion. He also adored his role as a Grampy to his grandson Gian, which brought him great joy.
Nick is survived by his loving fiancée, Tina Janik; his son, Nicholas Mucciarone, and daughter-in-law, Gina Mucciarone; his grandson, Gian Trahan; his stepdaughter, Toni Trahan; his brothers, Gary Mucciarone and his wife Amy Mucciarone, and David Mucciarone and his wife Betty Mucciarone; his nieces, Cindy Bissanti and her husband Bob Bissanti, Jennifer Mucciarone and Rick Grover, and Krysta Mucciarone; his nephews, David Mucciarone Jr. and his wife Nichole Mucciarone, and their daughter Karleigh Mucciarone, and Bill Miller and his wife Liz Miller; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Nick will be deeply missed beyond words. His laughter, his love, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he may be gone, his love for his family, especially his son, will never be forgotten, and he will be cherished always.
A wake will be held on Sunday, April 12, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral 33 Cottage St.
His funeral service and burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA in honor of Nick and his love for animals.
