Matthew “Matt” Charles Denommee

Cherished father, brother, son, & friend

Matthew C. Denommee, 56, passed away at his Montgomery, TX home on May 29th, 2026 after an illness. He shared the home with his loving partner, Amanda Smith.

Born December 9th, 1969 to Maurice R. Denommee and Mary Alice (Orfao) Denommee, predeceased by his father. He attended Franklin High School, Graduating in 1987.

Matthew never met a stranger, could manage a smile out of anyone, and never turned down an opportunity to help. He spent his time tinkering around in his garage, spending time on the lake on his jet ski, or sharing a laugh with others, making quips with his notable sense of humor that will be sorely missed.

In addition to his partner and his mother, he is survived by his daughters; Danielle N. Denommee of Quincy, MA and Julia N. Denommee of Milford, MA. 

He is predeceased by his son Lucas R. Denommee.

He leaves behind his siblings; Francine Swanson and her husband Gary Swanson of South Yarmouth, MA; Dianne Denommee of Cranford, NJ; Mark Denommee and his wife Jennifer Denommee of South Yarmouth, MA; Lisa Budnik and her husband Thomas Budnik of Franklin, MA; Aline Denommee of Franklin, MA; and sister-in-law Darlene Denommee, widow of his brother, Richard Denommee who predeceased him.

He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and innumerable friends.

Funeral services will be held privately.
