Obituary

Mark C. Mercure 62, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died peacefully, at his home, Friday August 28, 2020.

Born October 15, 1957, in Woonsocket, a son of the late Lionel R. and Marie I. (Brackett) Mercure, he was a former longtime resident of Franklin, until moving to Woonsocket recently.

He was raised and educated in Franklin and worked as an automotive detailer for Imperial Chevrolet.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, bicycling, and had a soft spot for small animals. He had a passion for cars from watching car races and car shows to working on and detailing them. He was artistic and had a high attention to detail.

He is survived by his children, Amy A. Schiemer and her husband Michael of Uxbridge, Kasey L. Mercure of Auburn and a brother, Michael A. Mercure and his companion Joyce Marquis of Woonsocket.

Also surviving is his cherished grandson Colin M. Schiemer.

Mark's service and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin will be held privately.
