Obituary

Mark E Lanagan 60, of Franklin, passed away, peacefully with his family at his side, Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following an illness.

Born March 1, 1961 in Norwood, a son of Priscilla C. (Denton) Lanagan of Franklin and the late Robert L. Lanagan, he was a longtime resident of Franklin.

He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School. Mark worked as a safety engineer in the fire suppression industry.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football, snowmobiling and going to concerts.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Krystal Martinez of Texas, Kailee Murphy of Plainville and Mark Lanagan of Millis, siblings, Robert Lanagan, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Robin Bryson of Bellingham, Marianne Bournazian of Shrewsbury, Tracy Cofsky of Franklin, Tammy Davit of Franklin, Alan Lanagan of Grafton and Kerry Lanagan of Australia.

Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Deacon Martinez, Harper Grace Murphy, Jackson Murphy, Gavin Lanagan, Parker Lanagan and many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

He was the father of the late Amber Rose Lanagan and Mark E. Lanagan, Jr.

A private family service followed by burial at Union Street Cemetery in Franklin, will be held at a later date.
