FRANKLIN—Marjorie J. (Johnson) Knight 85, of Franklin, and a former Centerville resident, died Thursday October 21, 2010 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late William F. Knight.
Born in Worcester, November 27, 1924 a daughter of the late Arthur & Marjorie (Wilson) Johnson, she was raised and educated in Worcester, and was a 1942 graduate of Worcester High School. She also was a graduate of the former Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester.
Mrs. Knight was a retired registered nurse and worked at Cape Cod Home Care in Centerville.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and had been active in the Needham Community Theater Group.
She is survived by 3 sons; William F. Knight of Bellingham, John A. Knight and his wife Donna of Orlando, Fla., Philip H. Knight and his wife Kathryn of Bellingham, a daughter Pamela J. Ward and her husband Donald of Marshfield, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday October 25th at 12 noon in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com.
Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45PM.
A calling hour will be from 11AM-12PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory sent to Parkinson Disease Association 72 East Concord St. C-3 Boston, MA 02118 or to the charity of one's choice, would be appreciated.
