Obituary

Marianne (Gasbarro) Silverman, 56, of 133 Central Park Terrace, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the Blaire House in Milford, following a long illness. She was the wife of Solomon "Sol" Silverman.

Born in Milford, January 14, 1952, a daughter of Mary E. (Bennett) Gasbarro of Franklin and the late Louis A. Gasbarro, she was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School. She was a graduate of the Peabody School of hairdressing and until illness forced her to stop working had been employed as a hairdresser at the Silver Shears Salon on Dean Ave. in downtown Franklin.

She enjoyed travel and reading.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother is a brother James Gasbarro of Maine.

She is also the sister of the late Louis A. Gasbarro, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., www.franklinfuneral.com . Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
