Obituary

FRANKLIN: Mrs. Marguerite A. (Horgan) Grinnell 83, died Wednesday August 30, 2006 at Caritas Norwood Hospital, following a long illness, She was the wife of Harold B. Grinnell.

Born in Everett, July 18, 1923 a daughter of the late John and Madeline (Kiernan) Horgan, she lived in Franklin for more than 30 years.

She was raised and educated in Revere, and was a retired secretary, having worked for several area real estate agencies.

She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and the American Assoc. of Retired Persons.

Surviving in addition to her Husband of more than 61 years, are 2 sons: Stephen H. Grinnell of Franklin, David Grinnell of Uxbridge, 3 daughters: Joyce Wescott of North Carolina, Laurel Long of Phoenix, Arizona, Marjorie Graziano of Washington, DC, 2 brothers: Gerard Horgan of Wilmington and Lawrence Horgan of Bristol, New Hampshire and 7 grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late Marilyn Grinnell, and the sister of the late Madeline Connery and Marie Buckley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday Sept. 5th at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street. Interment will follow in the family lot in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Calling hours are Monday September 4th from 3 – 5PM.
