Obituary

WRENTHAM—Margaret M. (Shea) Edwards 94, of Wrentham, died Sunday December 23, 2012 at Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Edwards, who died in 1998.
Born January 5, 1918 in Boston, a daughter of the late John and Marie (Huber) Shea, she was a resident of the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past few years and was a former longtime resident of Dedham.
She was raised and educated in Boston schools, and also attended the former Boston Clerical Business School. For many years she worked as an administrator for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain.
She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, reading, gardening, and crocheting. She also treasured time spent with her family.
Margaret is survived by a son, Arthur J. White of Hyannis, a daughter Elaine Murphy and a son in law William C. Murphy of Franklin, 5 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren.
She is the sister of the late John Shea and Elizabeth Roche.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral; with visitation beginning at 9:30AM on Saturday Dec. 29th, from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 130 South St. Wrentham, MA 02093 at 11AM.
Her interment at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham will be held privately.
