Obituary

Margaret M. (Cummings) Borruso 88, of Andover, died peacefully, with family at her side, Monday December 11, 2017 at Avita of Newburyport, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Borruso, who died in 2016.

Born December 3, 1929 in Whitinsville, she was a former resident of Milford and Franklin before moving to Andover.

She was raised and educated in Milford and attended St. Mary's School. Margaret worked a telephone operator, but her greatest joy was raising her children.

She enjoyed reading and spending time in Hyannis. Margaret was devoted to her faith and family.

Margaret is survived by her children, Kathleen Borruso of West Newbury, Bridget DeGesero and her husband Rod of San Diego, CA, Roberta Borruso of Andover and Charles J. Borruso of Andover, a brother, Donald Cummings of Fitchburg, a sister, Claire Cummings of Milford and her grandchildren, Daniel, Christine, William and Jack.

She was the sister of the late Kathleen Cummings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday Dec. 15th, at 11AM in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Sq. Franklin. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
