Obituary

Malayky (Luangsithideth) Vilaysack 64, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Thursday January 5, 2023 at Milford Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Keo Vilaysack, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Laos, Malayky immigrated to the United States in the 1980s and soon moved to Franklin where she has lived ever since.

Malayky loved spending time with family and friends, both those who immigrated from Laos along side her and new friends she made while working at the Milford DTA office. She would often times be seen on long walks around Franklin with the family dog Lucky or tending to the garden with her husband.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her only daughter, Sasolie Vilaysack of Somerville, MA and a brother Thomas Mathsanghane of Franklin, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Sunday January 15th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 1-5PM.

Her funeral service will be held Monday at the funeral home, starting at 10AM.
