Obituary

FRANKLIN: Lucia "Lucy (Brunetta) Georgetti 85 of Highwood Dr. Franklin, died Thursday June 18, 2009 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. She was the wife of the late John L. Georgetti, who died in 1980.

Born in Boston, March 24, 1924 a daughter of the late Antonio and Giacomina (Spano) Brunetta, she formerly lived in Framingham for many years, until moving to Franklin 23 years ago.

Mrs. Georgetti was a graduate of the former Burdette College, and until her retiring many years ago, was employed as a secretary/clerk for the Town of Framingham.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Franklin, enjoyed time with family, and was active with the Franklin Senior Citizens, and the Council on Aging.

She is survived by 2 nephews: John M. Melo and his wife Susan of Bellingham, David P. Melo and his wife Laura of Franklin, and 1 great nephew Josh Melo.

She was the sister of the late Nardina "Nancy" Melo, Edward Brunetta, Antonia Parker, and Lee Basile.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Tuesday June 23rd at 10AM at St. Mary's Church 1 Church SQ Franklin. Interment will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
