Obituary

FRANKLIN—Lillian A. (Berghelli) Thornhill 82, of Franklin, died peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family Saturday April 7, 2012 following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late James Thornhill, Sr. for 64 years until his passing in May 2011.
Born in Franklin, September 23, 1929 a daughter of the late Antonio and Giacinta Berghelli she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Lillian was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a retired homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and knitting, she was also a member of the Plainville Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son; James Thornhill, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Franklin, 7 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.
Lillian was the mother of the late Lawrence L. Thornhill and Judy Dellorco, & she was predeceased by 8 siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday April 11th, at 10:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a service in the Plainville Baptist Church 62 South St. RT.1A, Plainville, MA 02762 at 11:30AM.
Interment will follow at the family lot in Union St. Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Tuesday Apr. 10th, from 4-8PM.
