Lenora Palanzi

Lenora Palanzi of Franklin, passed away peacefully at her home Friday June 26th, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of James Palanzi, with whom she shared 67 yrs of marriage.

Born on December 30th, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. she raised her family aside Jim in Ashland, Ma before they moved to Franklin in 2007.

She was a career R.N. and loved nursing for years after retirement. She loved gardening and her favorite flower was the peony. She was an avid birdwatcher, loving hummingbirds the most, she was an accomplished seamstress and artist. She was known for her Christmas cookies.

She is survived by her loving husband James Palanzi of Franklin, her son Allan Palanzi of Ashland, his wife Fernanda and her grandsons James and Dominic Palanzi, her daughter Tara (Palanzi) Rak of Franklin, her husband David and her her granddaughters Angelina and Sophia Rak, and her sister Linda(Albanese) Hart of Syracuse, N.Y.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Tuesday July 7th,  at 11am in St Mary's Church, 1 Church Square  Franklin.
