Jeannette I. Brady

Jeannette I. Brady, daughter of James P. and May I. (Angus) Shea, died peacefully on May 28th at Medway Country Manor. Jeannette was born in Waltham on February 7, 1932 and was educated in Watertown. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she became a nurse in 1953. Over the next 40 years, Jeannette cared for patients in the Boston and Metro West area. 

Jeannette was a long-time resident of Franklin and enjoyed walking, reading, and knitting. She treasured weekend family drives to the North Shore, New Hampshire and the Cape for the beaches and a fish dinner. Jeannette and her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph A Brady, cherished their long-distance road trips to California, Alaska, Texas, Ohio, and Florida. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband and her two brothers, John and James Shea.

Jeannette is survived by her three daughters: Mary Misuraca (Tom) of Texas, Kathi Lucas of Ohio, and Jane Chinnaswamy (Mano) of Florida; and her grandchildren; Joseph Lucas (Sarah) of Ohio, Heather Penton (Chris) of Arizona, Nicaela Chinnaswamy of Maryland, Ellyssa Chinnaswamy of Maryland, and Trent Chinnaswamy (Emma Cronin) of Virginia. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Jean Gregory, and many nieces and nephews.

At Jeannette’s request, services will be private.
