Obituary

WAREHAM—Jean E. (Guardabascio) Dunn 77, of Wareham, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Sunday March 15, 2009 at Boston Medical Center. She was the wife of Roland E. Dunn for over 48 years.
Born in Dedham, July 13, 1931 a daughter of the late Anthony & Anna (Sanacore) Guardabascio, she was raised and educated in Dedham and was a 1949 graduate of Dedham High School.
For many years, Mrs. Dunn worked as a secretary for John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston, and until her retirement several years ago, was the office manager for the John R. Padula Construction Company in Franklin.
A sports lover, Jean enjoyed bowling, softball, tennis, skiing and camping.
She is also survived by three sons Michael A. Dunn of Tampa, Fla., Mark E. Dunn of Franklin, Stephen L. Dunn of Woonsocket, and a daughter Ann Marie Laperle of North Attleboro, a sister Mary E. White of Dighton, five grandchildren Rachael J., Armando L., Alexander R., Aldo M., and Angelo F. Dunn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday March 19, at 9:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church 151 Village St. Medway at 10:30.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
