Obituary

Janet was born in Beacon Falls, CT on July 13th 1934.

After graduating from high school, she served in the United States Air Force.

She graduated from Marshall University, then went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Education from Northeastern University.

Janet was a reading specialist and taught reading to elementary students in Oakland, Maine and then in the Franklin and Medway MA school systems.

She married Orrin D. Blaisdell in Framingham MA on July 25th 1960.

Janet was an enthusiastic gardener. She volunteered at The Garden in the Woods for many years.

She is survived by her husband Orrin, daughter Melanie Krueger and son-in-law Richard Krueger of Laughlin NV, son Jonathan Blaisdell of Franklin, MA, granddaughter Meta Brewer of Woonsocket,  RI, sisters Dolores Ford of Beacon Falls, CT and Virginia Winik of New Jersey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
