Janet A. Clark

Janet Alice (Taylor) Clark 92, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday May 20, 2026 following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell P. Clark, Sr., who died in 2019.

Born May 30, 1933 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Walter L. And Ruby V. (Morey) Taylor, she was a resident of Franklin for many years.

She was raised and educated in Ashland and was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1952. She was a member of the Ashland High School Basketball team.

Janet worked as a clerk at area convince stores. She enjoyed playing bingo & visiting casinos, the New England Patriots and was a Golden State Warriors Basketball fan.

Most of all Janet’s children meant the world to her, she was a person that you could call on at anytime, & would be there to help you out no matter the situation.

Her greatest joy was her family, her children, Les Clark of Wareham, Sandra Burke of Blackstone, Jennifer Simons of Franklin, her grandchildren, Erica, Kelly, Timothy, Samantha, Mark, Loudan, Luke, Jenny, Jonathan & Miranda, her great grandchildren, James, Victoria, Hailey, Timothy III, Emilia, Sophia, Lincoln, Russell, Cody, Isabell, Jason & Molly.

Also surviving is her loving cat Bert.

She was the mother of the late Russell “Rusty” Clark, Jr.

Janet’s services will be held privately at a later date.
