James E. Shreenan

James E. Shreenan, age 84, of Franklin, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, June 4, after a brief illness.

Born in New Hampshire, James was the beloved son of the late Arthur and Jean Shreenan and brother of the late Joan Lannon.

James is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Shreenan; his son Ronald Shreenan and his wife, Kerri, of Millbury; his son Shawn Shreenan and his wife, Maria, of Rehoboth; and his daughter Melanie Lomberto and her fiancé, Charlie, of Franklin.

He was “Papa” to eight cherished grandchildren: Scott, Brittany, Sami, Shane, Hunter, Cameron, Brayden, and Chloe, as well as three great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

James was a proud Marine who served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

In his earlier years, he could often be found in his workshop building or repairing something with his hands, or enjoying a day of fishing

At James’s request, no services will be held.
