Obituary

James A. Page 70, of Franklin, and a former Plainville resident, died peacefully, Tuesday December 27, 2016 at the Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center, following an illness.

Born in Quincy, July 25, 1946 a son of the late Irving and Ruth A. (Jordan) Page of Norfolk, he was raised and educated in Norfolk, and was a 1964 graduate of King Philip Regional High School.

For many years and until his retirement, Mr. Page worked as a van driver at the Wrentham State School.

He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam conflict. Serving in Nha Trang, Viet Nam, he attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class, and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the National defense Service Medal, the Viet Nam Campaign Medal and the Viet Nam Service medal with 2 overseas bars. He was honorably discharged in May 1969.

His immediate survivors include 3 brothers, David R. Page of Bellingham, Stephen Page of Ft. Myers, Florida, William J. Page of Franklin, 2 sisters, Nancy R. Page of Natick and Stephanie Brooks of Wrentham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Saturday Dec. 31st, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin. Interment will follow in the family lot at City Mills Cemetery, Franklin.
