Obituary

James A. Garland 60, a resident of Mendon since 1999, died at his home on Monday May 17, 2010. He was the former husband of Marcia L. (Brown) Garland of Bellingham.
Born in Boston, August 23, 1949 a son of Irene (Mattison) Garland of Mendon, and the late Harris A. Garland, he was raised and educated in Wrentham, and was a 1967 graduate of Sherborn High School.
He was a retired self employed painting contractor. He enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles.
He is survived by a son; Isaac S. Garland of Mendon, a daughter; Alana N. Garland of Missouri, and two brothers; Robert C. Garland of Franklin & William H. Garland of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday May 22nd, at 2PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com.
Interment will be held privately.
