Obituary

Jacqueline M. (d'Entremont) Surette 89, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Wednesday February 15, 2023 at the Enclave of Franklin. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Surette, who died in 1975.

Born May 15, 1933, in Pubnico, Nova Scotia, Canada a daughter of the late Eldridge F. and Luella d'Entremont, she was a former longtime resident of Avon until moving to Franklin, to be closer to her family.

She was raised in Nova Scotia and worked as a fiscal consultant & bookkeeper for the Old Colony Planning Council in Brockton.

Jacqueline enjoyed quilting, bowling and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda S. Davis and her husband Chris of Plainville, siblings, Etta d'Entremont of Ontario, Canada, Annette d'Entremont, Marina d'Entremontt, Barbara Hall, and Berthe d'Eon all of Nova Scotia, Canada.

She was the mother of the late Ronald P. "Ronnie" Surette and sister of the late Francois d'Entremont, Hubert d'Entremont and Thomas d'Entremont.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Zachary Davis, Benjamin Davis, Jacob Davis and many nieces & nephews.

Jacqueline's graveside service at St. Michael's Cemetery in Avon will be held privately.
