Jacob E. Dunnebier, “Jake,” a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family who will forever feel the heartbreak of his absence.
Jake was born on January 25, 1994, in Norwood, MA. He grew up in Franklin, MA, where he made a life filled with the people and things he enjoyed. He enjoyed playing video games, spending time with friends, was a proud member of local Union 138, going for drives, and turning up the music as he cruised along.
Jake is survived by his beloved mother, Theresa Dunnebier (Lenzi), with whom he resided in Franklin; his father, Wayne Dunnebier, of Franklin; his grandparents, Joseph and Rachel Lenzi, of Franklin; his oldest sister, Sara DiRosario, and her husband, Michael, of Blackstone, and their two daughters, Kinsley and Kayleigh, his cherished nieces; his sister, Grace Dunnebier, of Franklin; and his twin brothers, Brayden and Luke Dunnebier, of Franklin. He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind his longtime girlfriend, Anne Marie, and her daughter, Jade, who were an important part of his life.
He was his mother’s pride and joy, her little boy; a cherished brother, proud uncle, beloved grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jake had a heart that cared deeply, a smile that could light up a room and his presence left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. He was so much more than the hardships he faced, and his life will be remembered for the person he was and the meaningful connections he shared.
His passing leaves behind a complicated and profound grief, filled with sadness, unanswered questions, and memories of a life that ended far too soon. It is a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be, and of all the life still left to live, the memories yet to be made, and the moments we believed we would have together. Jake was loved beyond words, will be missed beyond measure, and will forever remain a part of the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-11AM.
His funeral service will follow at 11AM.
