BROCKTON—Mr. J. Warren St. Pierre 74, of Brockton, died Saturday October 29, 2011 at the Kindred Hospital in Stoughton. He was the husband of Marie J. (Grato) St. Pierre of Franklin.
Born in Fall River, May 16, 1937 a son of the late Armand A. and Lillian G. (Fallows) St. Pierre, he was raised and educated in Fall River, and had resided in Brockton for about 10 years. Until his retirement, Mr. St. Pierre worked as a self employed glass and window tinter.
He served in the US Navy in the middle 1950's, and was honorably discharged in 1957.
He was a member of the Wrentham VFW, and the American Legion in Wrentham & Norton. He enjoyed poetry, card games, and crossword puzzles.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 sons; Warren J. St. Pierre and his companion Penelope Arcaro of Franklin, Paul A. St. Pierre of Franklin, Michael W. St. Pierre and his wife Holly E. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, a daughter Juliann M. St. Pierre of Bellingham, 2 brothers; William St. Pierre and his wife Patricia of Wilton, Connecticut, Jerome D. St. Pierre and his wife Linda of Norton, 3 sisters; Deborah Cadorette and her husband Christopher in Germany, Jean Thomas and her husband Irving of South Carolina, and Arlene Socquet and her husband Clifford of Florida. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Arianna, Kailee, & Cody.
He is also the father of the late Rene A. St. Pierre, and the brother of the late Mildred Powell.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, Wednesday November 2nd, at 11:30AM to proceed to the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne for a 1:00PM funeral service, with military honors. Burial will follow.
Calling hours are Tuesday Nov. 1st, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
