Obituary

FRANKLIN—Irene E. (Knight) Doura 72, of Franklin, died Sunday December 9, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Nicholas A. Doura.
Born in Warwick, RI April 24, 1940 a daughter of the late Harry and Glenia (Beaudoin) Knight, she was raised and educated in Blackstone, and had lived in Franklin since 1977.
Mrs. Doura was a retired homemaker, and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Franklin, and enjoyed Christian & Devotional music, automobile trips especially to Cape Cod, whale watching, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to her husband are 2 sons, Arthur Dugas and his wife Judy of Woonsocket, Robert W. Knight and his wife Jennifer of Medway, 2 daughters, Ola M. Golding and her husband Joseph of Franklin, Christine G. O'Neil of Milford, a sister Linda of RI, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is also the sister of the late Joyce Newell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday Dec. 13th, at 12:30PM at the Grace Baptist Church 69 Beaver St. Franklin. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 3PM.
