Obituary

Howard E. "Howie" Peck 61, of Franklin, died peacefully, with family at his side, Thursday September 20, 2018, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Therese M. (Doiron) Peck, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Born February 11, 1957 in Noblesville, IN a son of the late Kenneth E. Peck and Vivian (Everton) Peck-Santos, he was a former resident of North Attleboro, before moving to Franklin.

He was raised and educated in Massachusetts and worked as a carpenter for numerous construction companies including, Jack Flynn & Sons and HEP Construction. He was also the former owner of Eagles Crest Construction.

He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Howie was also known in the neighborhood as the "Tomato King" and would often deliver tomatos that he grew in his garden to the neighbors.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Michael Taylor of Franklin, Donald Peck of Cape Cod, Christine Peck of Hudson, FL and Bobbi Lee Dylan of Maine and his siblings, Kenneth Peck, Edward Santos, Jonathan Santos, Victoria Gosselin, Vivian, Lillian and Ann Marie Santos.

Also surviving are 7 grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late Caroline Welsh.

His services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Dana-Farber Brigham and Women's Cancer Center 20 Prospect St. Milford, MA 01757.
