Obituary

Hedwig "Hedy" Brechbuehl of Medway and formerly of Foxboro, died peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in her new home at Whitney Place in Medway after an illness.

Born in Burgdorf, Switzerland, she was the daughter of the late Gotfried and Marie (Hebeisen) Brechbuehl. She was raised and educated in Burgdorf, Switzerland.

Prior to her retirement she held various managerial positions. Her last employment was at the Foxboro Public Library, where she worked until her 80's.

Hedy enjoyed traveling and hosting various family members that were visiting her from Switzerland.

She was one of 7 children and leaves behind one brother and one sister, as well as many nieces and nephews all in Switzerland.

There are no calling hours and her interment will be in Switzerland at a later date.

Hedy's family would like to thank the staff of The Willows at Whitney Place in Medway, for the care and compassion shown to Hedy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
