Obituary

Hazel M. (Prue) Genoa, 94, of Medway died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Dominick J. Genoa, who died in 1992.
Born in Bangor, Maine, Aug. 3, 1913, a daughter of the late Hadley and Roseanna (Lane) Prue, she was raised and educated in Maine, and formerly lived in Franklin most of her life, until moving to Medway in 1993.
She was a retired homemaker and enjoyed her family, knitting, crocheting and card playing. She was an active member of the Medway Senior Citizens.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Genoa of Upton, William Genoa of Friendswood, Texas, and James Genoa of Franklin; a daughter, Kathleen R. Genoa of Medway; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday, at 8:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., www.franklinfuneral.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
