Obituary

Mrs. Gladys J. (Weede) Denny 85, of Franklin, died Wednesday February 27, 2008 at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roger S. Denny, who died in 2000.
Born in Cherokee, Iowa November 23, 1922 a daughter of the late Henry and Alvine (Mitzner) Denny, she formerly lived in Hemet, California for many years before moving to Franklin in 2001.
Mrs. Denny was a retired homemaker who enjoyed reading, crocheting, needlepoint and music.
She is survived by two sons Roger A. Denny of Franklin, Philip R. Denny of California, a daughter Jeanette A. Hungerford of California, two sisters Dorothy Reiner and Wilma McLean of California, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Sunday March 2, 2008 at 5:00PM in Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield, Rhode Island 02917. Interment will take place on Thursday March 6, 2008 at 11AM at the family lot in Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
