Ginny J. Mastromatteo, age 84, went to be with our Lord following a long illness on March 30, 2026 at All American Assisted Living in Wrentham.
Ginny was born January 22, 1942 and was raised in East Walpole and Franklin Mass. She attended Franklin High School and graduated in 1959. She also attended Chandler School for Women in Boston and received an Associates Degree in the Business Secretarial course in 1961.
Ginny worked for many years as a legal secretary then for 32 years as an Executive Assistant at Waters Corporation in Milford.
Ginny enjoyed spending vacations with her daughter Dawn and family in Vermont and going to lunch and movies with her many friends.She loved babysitting for her grandchildren and attending their sports games and dance recitals with her granddaughter.
Ginny is preceded by her beloved husband Joe Mastromatteo, her parents Guy & Vera (Brunelli) Delsignore and her brother John Delsignore.
Ginny is survived by her daughter Dawn Lenzi and husband Michael of Franklin, Carolyn Goddard and her husband Kenny of Hingham, four grandchildren, Joey Lenzi of Franklin, Tony Lenzi and his wife Julianne of Blackstone, Evan Goddard and Shanah Goddard of Hingham. She is also survived by her sister Gayle Jewers and husband Gerald of Kingston.
Ginny would have become a Great Grandmother this year to Tony and Julianne Lenzi’s baby boy. (We know she would’ve spoiled him rotten!)
Ginny was a cherished Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend to all. Her presence will be deeply missed.
We love you Ginny, now and forever. Safe journey to Heaven!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Saturday April 18th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-10:30AM.
Her funeral Mass will follow in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 11AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org
Burial at the parish cemetery will be held privately.
