Obituary

Frieda (Vrana) DeFranco 95, a Franklin resident since 1986, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday June 19, 2012. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. DeFranco, who died in 1997.
Born in Springfield, January 5, 1917 a daughter of the late August and Emma (Frank) Vrana, she was raised and educated in Springfield, and formerly lived in Roslindale and Westwood before moving to Franklin.
Mrs. DeFranco was a retired homemaker and enjoyed time spent with family, movies, and travel.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Joyce L. Candeas and Karen L. Bremner of Franklin, a brother Donald Vrana of Morriston, Florida, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is also the sister of the late Emma Duemling.
Her services with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Franklin are private.
