Obituary

Esther M. (Mower) Conklin 99, of Franklin, died Friday April 9, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center following an illness. She was the wife of the late John Conklin who died in 1991.
Born May 21, 1910 in Orland, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late William J. and Bessie (Shuey) Mower, she had lived in Pennsylvania for most of her life before moving to Franklin in 1991.
She was educated in Pennsylvania, and until her retirement many years ago worked as a sales associate for Sturbridge Clothiers in Pennsylvania.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens and the Friendly Circle of the Blind and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons; Robert J. Conklin of Maryland & Ronald W. Conklin and his wife Janyce of Norfolk, a brother John Mower of Florida, and a sister Alice Kemp of Florida. Also surviving a granddaughter Nancy Sinsky of Maryland, a grandson Christopher Conklin of Maryland, and 3 great granddaughters.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
