Obituary

Elisa (Freda) Chiodetti, 89 of 64 Alpine Place, Franklin, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Carlo F. Chiodetti, who died in 1983.

Born in Rivisondoli, Italy, July 14, 1917, she came to the United States in 1936. She first settled in Milford, and then shortly thereafter relocated to Franklin where she lived for the rest of her life.

She was a retired stitcher for the former Whiting & David Co., in Plainville.

She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, The American Assoc. of Retired Persons, and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Franklin.

She is survived by a son: John C. Chiodetti of Franklin, 2 daughters: Alfie M. Blanchard of Newton, Anna M. Pierce of Boxborough, a sister Domenica Gogliormella of Milford, and 4 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday, at 8:15 AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, www.franklinfuneral.com , with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
